Go And Tell
March 1, 2026
What does it really mean to live on mission for Jesus? In this powerful and practical message, Pastor Nicole Moore challenges us to move from “come and see” to “go and tell.” If you’ve ever wondered how to share your faith without being awkward, how to invite someone to church, or how to grow in boldness as a Christian, this message will equip and inspire you. Drawing from the Great Commission and the story of the woman at the well, we’re reminded that evangelism isn’t about perfection — it’s about obedience. You don’t need to be a theologian to make an impact. You simply need a testimony. God uses ordinary, imperfect people to bring hope to a broken world. Through biblical teaching and real-life stories, this message will stir your faith to share your story, invite someone into God’s presence, and bring people to Jesus — especially during the Easter season. If you’re praying for loved ones, believing for breakthrough, or asking God to use your life for greater purpose, this is for you. It’s time to step into your calling and become a messenger of good news.

should get real excited around here.
Jesus took all of our sin and paid for it on the cross. And we got new life this morning. Amen. He deserves our worship. He deserves our praise.
He deserves our entire life. And I am so excited to be with you this morning.
Y’all came back. You got an announcement last week that it was me speaking and you showed up to church. Just want you to know you blessed me this morning.
Just being here. You blessed me this morning.
Uh, I want to welcome online who’s joining us [music] as well. All of the other location pastors are speaking at their locations. And I got to tell you, we’ve had so much fun this week chattering back and forth through text messages. I got a message this morning. You’re going to Let’s crush it, y’all. I mean, you got to have friends in your life that are going to encourage you when you got to do hard things. Amen.
Uh last week, Pastor Jodie crushed it in her message all about the battles that we face. Got to put on the armor of God daily.
If you missed it, it’s a foundational message every Christian needs to know. You got to know this.
Ever since sin entered the world, the greatest battle that we are in is for the soul of man.
Your soul, my soul. And I got news for you today. You have a part to play in the battle. And so my hope is to inspire you, to encourage you, to challenge you this morning. God gave you breath in your lungs to fulfill your purpose on the planet. And if you didn’t know it, you’re going to know it by the end of the day that part of your purpose is to reach the souls that God has put into your world. Are you ready for this?
How about we just go to God first? Why don’t you just put your hand on your heart. God, we need you.
We need you every minute, every hour of every day.
And we come before you this morning humbly and ask that you would speak to us. Give us ears to hear what you would say.
Lord, I pray that I would get out of the way and that the message would be strong, God. That it would penetrate hearts, that it would stir up conviction on the inside of us, God. That after hearing this message, we would never be the same. That you would change us, transform us to make us more like your son. It’s in Jesus’ name we pray. And everyone shout a great big amen.
Amen and amen. Okay, if you’re taking notes, the title of my message today is Go and Tell. Turn to somebody and say, “Go and Tell.”
Now turn to your other neighbor and say, “That means you too.”
I’m going to tell my family right now to stop texting because it keeps showing up on my iPad. That’s what I’m going to say.
It’s words of encouragement. It is. But I’m telling you, I need to focus.
Good thing I’m a lady. Women, we can do two things at once, can’t we? Hallelujah. I watched Brandon Stewart this week. This is not in my notes, but I got to tell you, this is so funny. You guys know Brandon Stewart. I was down in San Antonio this week at Leading Second. By the way, shout out to our team. We had so many of our staff and team traveling around the country. We had two teams that went to Frederickton, New Brunswick in Canada to minister. We had teams up in Calgary and Red Deer to minister. And there were teams down in San Antonio. We were covering the North American continent this week. And oh man, we had fun.
I got to tell you, though, Brandon Stewart, his team convinced him that while he was doing his message, he should stand on a treadmill and walk. His wife had no problem doing it. He’s like, “Guys, I can’t do this. I cannot focus and walk at the same time.” And I’m like, but the ladies, we had no problem.
So, you know, it’s fine. Hey, throughout scripture, we see two common phrases: Come and See and Go and Tell.
Come and See and Go and Tell. Come and See is an invitation. This is where we start. This is an invitation to come and see what Jesus has done for you. What do we know? He loves us. He gave his life for us so that we can be in right standing. Pastor Jodie talked about that last week. We are the righteousness, in right standing with God because of not anything we’ve done. And I know because I see some of you out in the parking lot and I know right now you’re still working on your salvation, right? It’s not what we’ve done. It’s what He’s done. The shed blood of Jesus Christ covers all of our sins. And I cannot believe we’re not shouting a big amen and a hallelujah for what Jesus has done for you.
Cuz what He’s done for you is He saved you. Come and See is the invitation to be saved. He saves you. He gives you new life. But Christianity isn’t just about being saved from something. It’s also about being sent to someone.
Somebody say, “Go and Tell.”
Go and Tell. That’s your mission. Go and Tell. You are invited to experience Christ personally so you can Go and Tell about Him publicly. Now, this isn’t just a suggestion. This isn’t just some great message notes that the location pastors came up with together. This is a mandate given to Christ followers since Jesus first spoke it to His disciples.
That’s right. You may not be one of the original 12, but you are an extended family member. You are a disciple of Jesus. Therefore, this word works for you, too. Let me give you some specific places in scripture. Matthew 28:18–20, Jesus says, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations.” Mark 16:15 says, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” John 20:21, Jesus says, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so also am I send you.”
Turn to somebody and say, “You’ve been sent.”
Now, turn to your other neighbor and say, “Go and Tell.”
So, if Jesus has told us to Go and Tell our world about what He’s done for us, how can we do that? The question today is what does it look like? I’m going to give you three simple ways to do what Jesus has asked you to do: Share, Invite, and Bring.
1. Share
Sharing what God has done in your life is living a life on mission. Remember, you’ve been invited to experience Christ personally so you can Go and Tell about Him publicly. The Bible word for sharing the gospel is evangelism. You all been commissioned. You are part of the ministry of reconciliation, which means God is reconciling first Himself to you and then you to help others to Him.
And yet when people hear the word evangelism, they often picture the guy with the megaphone and the big poster listing out sins. That is not the model Jesus gave us. Jesus gave us a personal encounter. Look at the woman at the well. She carried shame. She came to the well in the heat of the day to avoid judgment. Jesus met her where she was, offered her living water, and everything changed. She then went and told others, “Come and see a man who told me everything I ever did.”
We can experience the Come and See, then leave and Go and Tell. She didn’t preach a sermon. She shared her encounter. You have a testimony of God’s goodness.
He’s done so many things for me. I had a story just this week at the airport where God returned my purse just in time before my flight. That is a miracle. You too have stories of God showing up unexpectedly—peace in chaos, provision in need, healing in heartache. Go share those things.
Think about the people you work with—they share frustrations. What if you used that moment to share how God has helped you? Even in the darkest valleys, God is with you. Go and Tell.
2. Invite
Inviting people to experience what God has done for you is powerful. You don’t have to have all the answers. You don’t have to have a perfect life. All you have to do is extend the invitation. “Come see what Jesus has done in my life. Come experience the love of God.”
Think about it. Jesus didn’t send His disciples to compel people. He sent them to invite them. Invite your friends, your neighbors, your coworkers, your family. Invite them to church, invite them to small group, invite them to a conversation over coffee.
Small invitations can have eternal impact. You never know whose heart will be open that day.
3. Bring
Bringing people into a relationship with Jesus is about discipleship. Once someone responds to the invitation, your job is to walk with them. Teach them, guide them, love them, pray with them.
It’s not enough to just share and invite. You have to stick around and help them grow. That’s the “Go and Tell” process. Share your story, invite them in, and then bring them along in the journey of faith.
Remember, discipleship isn’t about perfection. It’s about presence. Your presence and guidance can help someone understand how to live a life following Christ.
Now, let’s talk practical application.
Share your story this week with at least one person.
Invite someone to come see Jesus in a real way—maybe at church, maybe at a small group, maybe over coffee.
Bring someone into a conversation about faith and walk alongside them.
It doesn’t have to be complicated. It doesn’t have to be perfect. Just be faithful. Just be obedient. The Holy Spirit will do the rest.
And here’s the encouragement: God will honor your obedience. Even if it seems small, even if it feels insignificant, God multiplies your effort when you step out in faith.
Somebody needs to hear this right now: Your small step can change a life. Your small step can change eternity. Your small step can impact generations.
I want to close with this. Jesus has given each of us a mission. Come and See, then Go and Tell. It’s not just a suggestion. It’s not just a nice idea. It’s a command with the promise of His presence.
Matthew 28:20 says, “And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
So when you go, when you share, when you invite, when you bring, know that Jesus goes with you. You are never alone.
Let’s pray together.
Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of Your Son. Thank You for sending Him so that we could know You and be reconciled to You. God, empower us with boldness, give us opportunities to share, to invite, and to bring others into Your kingdom. God, may we live as faithful witnesses every day, pointing others to You in love. Lord, let us obey Your call with joy, knowing that You are with us every step of the way.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
Go and tell. Go and tell. Go and tell.
