Be a Bringer: Who’s in Your World?

The friend you text.
The coworker you see every day.
The neighbor you wave to.
The teammate you spend your weekends with.
The person you keep meaning to check on.

Sometimes the people who need hope the most are already right in front of us.

That’s where being a bringer begins.

Being a bringer isn’t about having the perfect words or knowing exactly what to say. It’s about noticing people. It’s about being willing to take a step toward someone and make an invitation.

Because you never know what’s happening beneath the surface of someone’s life.

The person who always seems to have it together may be struggling.
The coworker who makes everyone laugh may be carrying something heavy.
The neighbor who keeps to themselves may be longing for community.
The friend who says, “I’m good,” may be hoping someone asks again.

And sometimes, God wants to use you to be the person who notices.

Make Room

Jesus was constantly making room for people.

He noticed the people others overlooked. He stopped for the person everyone else walked past. He sat at tables with people who needed hope. He listened. He loved. He invited people into something greater.

We get to do the same.

Maybe being a bringer starts with a simple conversation.

“How are you really doing?”

Maybe it’s coffee.

Maybe it’s checking in.

Maybe it’s sitting beside someone who looks like they could use a friend.

And maybe, eventually, it’s as simple as:

“Why don’t you come to church with me?”

You don’t have to have all the answers. You just have to be willing to open the door.

Your Invitation Could Be Their Turning Point

We often think we need to do something big to make a difference.

But God has always used ordinary people willing to take simple steps of faith.

One invitation can lead to one conversation.

One conversation can lead to one encounter.

And one encounter with Jesus can change everything.

That’s why we say:

Bring a friend. Change a life.

Not because we can change someone’s life ourselves, but because we can be willing to bring them into an environment where they can encounter the One who can.

So as we continue through At The Movies, don’t just think about who you could invite.

Think about who you could notice.

Who could use some encouragement?
Who could use a place to belong?
Who needs hope?
Who has been on your mind lately?

Maybe that’s not a coincidence.

Maybe it’s an opportunity.

Look around your world.

Who’s within 10 feet of you?

Be the bringer.

Make the invitation.

Start the conversation.

You never know what God can do with one simple yes.
