Summer Stories Series: Standout Stories in Scripture

There’s something about summer that invites us to slow down and lean in. With longer days and a little more margin, we find space to reflect, reset, and refocus. And what better place to do that than in the stories of Scripture?

This summer at Champions Centre, we’re taking a journey through our Summer Stories -  Standout Stories in Scripture—moments where God met people in unexpected ways and taught them something that changed everything.

We kicked off the series with Pastor Sheila and the story of Samuel—a young boy called by God in the middle of the night. Her message, “What’s Age Got to Do With It?”, reminded us that God doesn’t wait for the perfect moment or the perfect age. He speaks to listening hearts, no matter how old (or young) they are.

That’s the heartbeat of this series: to see ourselves in these stories, to hear God’s voice in a fresh way, and to grow deeper in our faith—together.

Each week, we’ll explore a different story, not just for inspiration, but for transformation. These aren’t just Bible characters—they’re people who faced doubts, made mistakes, followed God, and discovered His faithfulness firsthand. Their stories have something to teach us about ours.

So whether you're reading along, journaling your thoughts, or talking through the message with friends or family, lean into this season. Let God speak through His Word—and remind you that He’s not finished with your story either.
