CREATIVE WAYS TO PREPARE FOR LEGACY

Tax Refund — set aside a portion of your refund for Legacy Offering.

Garage Sale — turn unused items around the house into something that can make a difference.

Sell Unused Items — Facebook Marketplace, OfferUp, eBay, clothing resale, electronics, furniture, tools, etc.

Save Over Time — set aside a specific amount each week leading up to Legacy.

Adjust Spending Habits — eat out less, pause subscriptions, skip coffee runs, or cut another optional expense for a season.

Take on Extra Work — babysitting, yard work, pet sitting, cleaning, detailing, delivery driving, or other side jobs.

Trade In Old Phones & Electronics

Give From Your Business — designate a percentage of sales, profits, or a specific day of business.

Use a Bonus or Unexpected Income — commissions, rebates, gifts, refunds, or extra income.

Sell Something Bigger — an extra car, trailer, recreational equipment, collectibles, or another valuable item you no longer need.

Host a Fundraiser — golf, cornhole, fun run, car wash, dog wash, bake sale, or lemonade stand.

Use a Skill or Hobby — photography, baking, woodworking, crafts, lawn care, 3D printing, etc.

Set a Family Goal — choose a Legacy goal together and find creative ways for everyone to participate.

Give Something Up for a Season — postpone a purchase, upgrade, trip, or other expense and redirect the money toward Legacy.

NEXT CHAPTER BUILDING CAMPAIGN IN YAKIMA

What we once prayed for, we’re now standing in.

Our Yakima home is open, and every week it is filled with people. Families are finding community, kids and students are growing in their faith, and people are encountering Jesus.

Next Chapter was never simply about building a building. People were always the vision. Every salvation, baptism, family strengthened, child discipled, and person who finds a church home here is part of what we believed God for.

And the story is still being written.

Maybe you weren’t part of Champions Centre Yakima when Next Chapter began. Maybe you’ve joined us since the doors opened. There is still an opportunity for you to be part of what God is building here.

LEGACY IN CHURCH KIDS

This November, Church Kids are learning what it means to build a Legacy of Faithfulness!

All month long, they’ll discover God’s faithfulness through stories in the Bible, seeing that the same God who was faithful then is faithful now and will be faithful forever.

Each Church Kid will receive their own Legacy Can and be encouraged to find creative ways to raise money throughout the month and add it to their Legacy Offering, including a fundraiser at each of our locations!

Through special activities, our Legacy Offering, and opportunities to practice generosity, kids will learn that they don’t have to wait until they’re grown up to make a difference. Every prayer, act of kindness, step of obedience, and generous gift can be part of building something bigger than themselves.

God is faithful, and everyone can build a legacy of faithfulness.

FAMILY DEVOTIONAL

Grow together as a family through this 7-day devotional all about living with open hands and generous hearts. Each short daily reading includes a Bible passage, a big idea, a reflection question, and a simple prayer to do together. You’ll discover how God uses every gift, big or small, to make a difference.
