hey good morning everybody
well happy Sunday to all of you happy Sunday to all of you I gotta get situated because I brought some good
stuff with me that I’m gonna show you in just a few minutes and um I’m glad you’re here today I want to
welcome all of our guests who are here in the house I want to welcome you to Champion Center
and we would be honored if you just keep coming and you make this your church home
and I would be honored to be your pastor I told our church all of you if you remember last week that the last few
years has caused a lot of Believers to stop going and being part of the church and uh I told everyone I am praying for
unchurched believers here in the Northwest to come back to church
and go ahead you can clap and I I’m on this uh
some stuff I’ll repeat sometimes and you might think he said that once I’m just going to say it again and maybe even
again and maybe even again because I am asking our church family to consider who you know is a Believer but
it’s not connected into a community into a into a faith community and then do a church and I’m going to ask you to like
be daring I’m going to ask you to if it’s out of your comfort zone I’m going to ask you to compel people to come with
you encourage them to come to church with you specifically my my request is that you ask them to come here come to
Champion Center and then if that’s not the right place assure them that God
does have a church for them a home for them a place for them and and a and he’s
got a plan for everybody every Christian belongs in a church and so I just want
to ask you to to do that I want to I’m shoving it across the table I’m putting it out in front of you and I’m saying will you join me can we do everything
that we can to get people planted in the house of the Lord so they can flourish
and fulfill God’s plan for their life for their children for their future amen
okay um I’m gonna just before I let you be seated I’m
going to ask you if you would to join me in a bold and a loud prayer
okay bold and loud and I’m going to ask you if you would right now to just simply say my heart is
open my mind is ready make me better God
by Your Word I receive it I receive it
I believe it and I won’t be the same again in Jesus name
and you may be seated in week one of our good Pharma series you might remember that my message was
titled don’t hold back don’t hold back say it out loud don’t hold back and we just talked about how
important it is to not allow Bad seasons and and difficult circumstances to hinder us from sowing good seeds in our
lives say it again don’t hold back then week two we talked about seeding
your future not just seeing your future but seeding your future
your Harvest today is from seeds that you have sown yesterday
and your Harvest tomorrow will be from the seeds that you sow today
and so we put these two thoughts together and this will really be what I will be talking about in good Pharma for
a few weeks now I’m going to be continuing to talk about don’t hold back seize your future don’t hold back seed
your future don’t hold back seed your future you see there’s a harvest in your future
for good or for bad there’s a harvest in your future by Design or default
there’s a harvest in your future now you won’t be able to control every Harvest or every outcome but if you’re
consistent to sow good seed into your life on a consistent basis
you’ll experience a healthy rich and abundant Harvest from the seeds that you sow
I want you to imagine if you would your future as an empty dirt field
now last week we had a picture of a dirt field and it’s going up on the screens right now there’s
lots of options in a field like this there’s lots of potential the soil is Rich and waiting for something to come
in that the nutrients can gather around and fuel but nothing is happening in these fields
yet and I want to remind you nothing good happens until we plant good seeds
the next picture that I want to show you is a picture of the field of your future placed Within
the kingdom and separated into five sections okay
and and this will stay up a bit I’ll talk about it a bit you can take some notes on it you can grab your phone and
take a pic I I don’t it doesn’t bother me whatever you want to do right now too try to remember it but if you’re a
Believer whose life is now under the lordship of Christ This is a visual that
you can use to visualize what I call the field of your future
first of all see your future as in the Kingdom
notice the circle around the field of your future when we give our life to God we become
citizens of his kingdom we are in the world but we are not of the world
we respect man but we obey God we are kingdom-minded people
and the territory of your life belongs to God’s Kingdom on Earth
secondly I want you to see the fields of your future separated into five sections
first of all your soul which is your mind your will and your emotions
secondly your relationships this would be friendship marriage children mentors Protege thirdly your
finances the fourth one is your body your physical self
and the fifth one is your your life work your work here on Earth
and those are the five areas of a field that you and I have been given I call it the opportunity of a lifetime
and those are five areas in which I want to encourage you to pay real close attention and to sow your seed
in the morning and to not withhold your hand on a daily basis
because there is a harvest
in your future if you look at the perimeter of that graphic you’ll see that I put there the kingdom and then I
put a few things I put praise and worship and prayer and I put some things around the perimeter of it that I’ll talk a little bit about in a moment but
I want you to just see that all of it happens whenever anyone says it may have seemed really it may have seemed really
like it was all a moment in your life whenever you stood in an auditorium or you put your head down and someone LED
you in what we call the Prayer of Salvation and it went something like this Lord Jesus I ask you today
to come into my heart to make me a new person to forgive me of all of my sin
and to give me a new life I boldly declare today that you are my
leader and you are my Lord and I will serve you so something like that but a lot of
people like they say I gave my life to God but they keep on keeping their life
under the rulership of self under the authority of of other things
and surrendering your life to God doesn’t mean that you’re going to always get it right or you’re always going to be perfect but it’s an intentional
decision on your part that says Jesus is the leader and the Lord he is the king
of my life there’s a scripture
that I want to everybody say there’s a harvest in my future there’s a scripture in Proverbs 24 that
I want you to read with me it goes like this it says I went past the field everybody say the field
I went past the field of a sluggard past the vineyard of someone who has no sense Thorns had come up everywhere
and the ground was covered with weeds and the stone wall was in Ruins
I applied my heart to what I observed and I learned a lesson from what I saw a little sleep
a little slumber a little folding of the hands to rest
and the next thing you know you’re 25. and the next thing you know you’re 40.
and the next thing you know you have not just children but grandchildren and the next thing you know you’re
entering retirement a little sleep a little slumber
a little folding of the hands to rest and poverty
will come on you like a bandit or come on you like a thief and scarcity
barrenness no crop wrong crop
fields of weeds and crab grass will come on you like and armed
man what a sad picture a field of thorns and weeds and broken
down walls that same field has the potential to produce a harvest
of good crops Vineyards that are weighted down with produce
see God created the field rich with nutrients he gave man the seed to put in
to the field but instead this man the picture of this man is a man who squandered his
opportunities in life sitting on the porch avoiding work
allowing thorns and weeds and stuff takes up space but has no value
video games and oh boy there he goes he left his notes and he went
to meddling and social medias
and entertainment of all sorts stop taking up space but really has no
real value and all that stuff creates in the real
field of our life it creates nothing there really benefits
our own life and our children and our future no real produce or growth in the field now this
is not the future that you want and it’s not the future that you have to have
and some of you your friends are you see this in their life you’ve seen it in your parents life and there’s something
in you that says I don’t want that feel I don’t want that heart that that ugly Harvest I I don’t want that
futility in my life I want my life to matter I want my life to count I want to leave a legacy in my future
and that’s why I want to remind you that you are the sower of your seed the seed is in your hand
and you concede your future I don’t want to leave you with just that picture I want to I want to show you another
picture it’s in Leviticus 26 and here’s what God says he says if you follow my decrees and you’re careful to just obey
the things I tell you I will send you rain in its season and the ground will yield its crops and
the trees their fruit and your threshing will continue until grape Harvest and the grape Harvest will continue until
planting in other words all year long you will keep on gathering in good things and good harvest and you will
then plant again and you will eat all the food that you want and you will live in safety in your land can somebody
shout amen come on anybody want that for your life
how many of you know we have a good God come on how many of you know we have a good guy how many of you know God gives us
everything that we need for life and for Prosperity how many of you know God’s put everything within us and
within our reach to do everything that he has called us to do amen
so I want to I want the rest of my message to be centered on three things and I think a couple of these words maybe all three are gonna sound
sophisticated or or but you know just just hear me out a little bit um I like it so since I like it I’m
gonna say it this way I always try to keep things um you know understandable relatable as simple as I can but I just
wanted to roll with a couple of phrases today that hit my mind and and there’s three keys in seed in your future that I want to talk about the first one is I
want to encourage you to seed your future theologically seize your future future theologically second one I’m going to talk about is
seed your future holistically and the third one is seed your future habitually
good so see your future theologically means theologically simply means Through The Eyes Of God
receive your future Through The Eyes Of God there’s a quote actually it’s my I made
it up from another one that I heard but he who knows not and knows not he knows not is a fool
avoid him personally I try to do this fools will argue they think they know they don’t know
so scripture says avoid them or in some versions of the Bible it says shun them
he who knows not and knows he knows not is a learner teach him
those are the people I love to get around interact with and sometimes I learn things from them because they’re
Learners they’ve got all kinds of wisdom and thought going in their life
and they they’re all about deliberation they’re all about doing what the Book of Proverbs says for us to do like in all
you’re getting get wisdom seek wisdom seek understanding one of the worst thing that’s happening in our culture right now in the cancel culture
is we’re shutting down voices of people who who the the the
mainstream doesn’t like what they’re saying and it doesn’t fit with the mainstream narrative and agenda it’s one of the worst things going on right now
is that there’s there’s people that are being silenced and they can’t talk and a lot of times what I’ve learned is
those actually those are people who know what they’re talking about they actually have something to contribute to the conversation
and where I came from and the and the best days and years of my life was sitting in circles and sitting with people who actually had a Viewpoint that
I was learning from and even when I disagreed I exchanged in courtesy I exchanged in respect and we both walked
away better so my point is that there is today a
definite need for us to understand that not knowing but not knowing that you
don’t know makes a person foolish fools
see their future with foolish decisions fools jump on culture narrative without
asking is this how God sees it
don’t be foolish seek to know God’s View
on everything God has an opinion
I said God has and oh but this is modern day stuff and you’re not going to find anything in the world in in the word of God like in the Bible about that
you’re being a fool you’re talking like a fool it’s in the Bible
like it may not say it in your exact words or but the Bible is filled with a whole lot of wisdom that
pertains to everything that we are dealing with in our life
you see everyone has faith for something everyone makes presumptions based on
something so I want I want college students to lean in and listen to me right now because I know some of you are fighting you’re you’re debating for your
faith right now let me just tell you those people that sound so smart everybody like they’ll say you believe in God they’ll say things like well you
know you have you ever seen God they’ll try to intimidate you and that’s the moment when you say do you have a brain have you ever seen it
like just just stand up because everyone has faith in something
everyone makes presumptions or has presuppositions I should say about that
are based on something and those who don’t believe in God don’t believe in nothing they believe in anything
they believe something in a presumptuous presupposition form
they base their faith they have a starting point somewhere and our presupposition of Faith starts with God
that God created everything and so with that in mind we say we
question and we say what’s God’s plan what is God’s thoughts
what does God say about it this is seeding your future
theologically I preached the position of Faith doesn’t start with media
the politician a goofy goofy evil philosopher called Karl Marx
and it doesn’t start with what they said or what they think no our belief starts
with God we seek first the kingdom we pray we
worship we praise we walk by faith we do life in the church why because that’s
our theology and the ideologies of the day cannot
stand up against theology theology is rooted in
the wisdom of the ages so our future
is intended by God to be submitted to his will and to his way
am I making sense and we seed our future theologically
we back up whenever anything’s going on in life that we’re not certain of or sure it can be as simple as you can come
from a background in religion where you grew up in a very quiet church and you can come to a church like ours and you
can go why are they doing this that’s just sad they’re actually making noise in church like they’re they’re making noise and
they’re they’re doing this that’s horrible that’s a shame like you know it could be something simple but if you just take time
and let somebody and ask somebody they’ll show you in the scripture where it says lift your hands
says it over and over again shout unto God clap your hands all you people so you can shut down is my point on almost
anything or you concede your future theologically
that makes sense Proverbs 16 and 3 says commit to the Lord whatever you do and your plans will succeed
and that’s what it means it means seed your future with the will and the ways of God
ask yourself what would God want what would God say I’m teaching my
children what my parents taught me but is there anything about what they taught me that would not be what I should pass
on to my children so seed seeding your future
theologically just means even teaching our children God’s thoughts in God’s way I brought some stuff to the
to the platform with me today because I wanted to just let you know that our our church and I think you know this but we
dedicate and I think last I heard it was like 75 children across our locations today we’re dedicated to the Lord
to parents we love we love our children and we’re fighting for our families
and we’re fighting by sowing seeds into their lives week after week and year after year and your church can’t do it by itself
but we’re willing to partner with you in church kids every week in the month of October they learn
what a mind monster is and how to overcome mind monsters
so we have for example we have um we have the this is a parent guide
and this is for kids and this is a seven day devotional for kids and this is a parent’s guide my monsters for kids
absolutely free but these are these are tools that we are resourcing and sowing
we are seeding your children’s future theologically
that makes sense along with that that’s all based on a
book that I wrote called mine monsters years and years ago it’s been republished reprinted several times it’s
definitely by far the the most books that I’ve ever sold in one of my books and it continues to be sold today and
this little book every time I think about I need to do it repackage it or something then I read
that it sold more so I’m like okay well my daughter helped me and we put together Jody and I put together my
monsters for kids and these These are these are tools and they’re running a special on it right
now for the month of October because it’s all month in our in our church kids about mine monsters and so
the the point is that these are available today they’re available in the lobby and parent nights you heard about it already but parent nights are
unbelievable we we spend money to bring in guests from around the country and people who really know what they’re talking about to talk to parents and
this month uh I think it’s October 17th the speaker has a book called raising parents and he’s going to be here
October 17th and if you’re a parent and you’re not working like it’s an Abomination for you not to be here like
it that’s just not in the cards you you’ve got to be here you understand we’re putting seeds out and we are
sowing seeds and we can’t we can’t control your future or your or your children’s future but if you and I and
all of us and your church and you can partner together like we can sow seeds into our families and into our marriage
and into our children that are going to bring forth a great harvest in their life and in
their future but we’ve got to sow the seeds the second the second kind of seeding is
seeding your future holistically seeding your future holistically now what I mean by that is I showed you the
field I showed you the different parts of the field that we’re going to focus on but I don’t want you to see all these and I think a lot of people make the
mistake of seeing these things separately don’t see them separately or in Parts but see them interconnected
as part of one field called your life seeding your future holistically
is part of the good harvest that God has for you so for example you don’t have to
choose between a healthy soul and a healthy body you can have both
your goal is not to be financially successful and relationally bankrupt
it’s not the life God came to give us each part of your field is important to
the holistic health of your future when your soul is healthy your life will
be healthy you see how everything it’s like root systems come together
in your life and they provide nutrients for the other areas of your life
seed your own Financial growth and if you’re a teenager right now it’s
not too early to start to think right about money
money isn’t everything but poverty is abandoned
and it robs you of opportunities and benefits and it puts you in bondage
when you sow good seeds in the financial section of the field
you will reap a financial Harvest which will be a blessing in all the other areas
of your life holistically keep seeding your future holistically
physically a healthy body will increase the quality of all of your life it’ll add length to your life
see you can only go where your body will take you holistically means that you’re going for
all of it you’re not buying into the LIE that you have to give up here and you have to give up there in order to have
good harvest over here or good harvest over there no no no no we can have a healthy Soul we can have a healthy body
we can be healthy financially are you with me we can have healthy relationships like we can we can see it
all and believe God trust God sow seed and experience harvest in all the areas
of our life the third one is seed your future habitually habitually now habitually means
continuously frequently and repeatedly so
theologically we are seeding our future holistically
we are seeding our future and habitually so continuously frequently
how many of you know you’re not a coffee drinker because you drank coffee once
or even a few times a year if anyone says I’m a coffee drinker we all know what they mean
like in the morning and sometimes in the day or the evening as well because what am I am a coffee
drinker it’s not what you do occasionally
it’s not what you do sporadically but it’s what you do continuously and repeatedly
quick question Wherever You Are you don’t have to raise your hand right now just on the inside keep your hand down or put it up how many of you were
in church a week ago wait wait you’re raising your hand I didn’t want to I wasn’t trying to make other people
I wasn’t trying to shame anybody I was just I was just like church kids where we give out
a prize see that those are those are that’s habitually
right I I see all kinds of people on Easter where are you guys
I run into people out in public at the mall Etc and they literally it’s like they walk into a confession Booth when they
see me and they put their head down they go hi pastor I’m I’m Joe
yeah you haven’t seen me I know I do Church like but but I haven’t been there in a while like
but that’s my church okay you’re you’re what now you’re you are
churchgoer no help me out I don’t ask them this by the way
you’re a church goer you’re planted in the church go back to coffee drinker
so again not trying to shame anybody but we dedicate our children to the Lord I’m happy to do it we’re so glad to do it we
have all these children coming parents bringing them can I just say something to your parents
if that’s just an act of some sort of a fulfillment of an
obligation it’s not going to go very far we don’t just dedicate our children to
the Lord we train our children we sow seeds we sow seeds we train them the ways of
God we train them how to grow up in The Fellowship of the church we we train
them how to be how to be a learner of God’s ways and words we ask them on the way home from church about my monsters
this morning and can they quote that scripture we engage and we interact and we put them to bed at night with a with with a time with them and a prayer with
them we’re just continually seeding the future seeding the future seeding the future because it’s not what we can do
occasionally with what we do consistently that really matters seeing your future habitually
you don’t go to the gym and expect to get in shape by saying I’ll be back next month
can you do something besides you get mad at me right now because I am in your living room talking truth to you can you like go okay pastor you’re right like
can you like really just give me a little bit of love right now if if I’m on if I’m on to you because I care about
you and I want you to start being real with yourself it’s habitually
you want muscles be back tomorrow you want to get in better shape five days minimum this week
you want your children to get an education they can’t come to school once a month
if you gave me a choice right now with my children my grandchildren and said here here’s the deal Pastor coven
like you you can either home Church them or home school them I would in a heartbeat homeschool them
I would figure out a way to homeschool them that’s how important it is to have your children in the atmosphere and the
environment if you try to home Church your children I promise you you will
I don’t want to I don’t pronounce uh failure I just want to tell you that you are leaning into the statistics of
probably 98 chance that your children will become
faithful fellowshipers of other people of Faith they will re but but rather they will find friends at school that’s
where they spend their time they will find friends everywhere else so a pastor gets up on a morning like this and he’s like habitually habitually see your
future habitually so I would homeschool them and everybody
knows education is very important right rather than thinking I’m just going to
sing a little song at home and they’re just as good how we’re going to live our life and I’ll say that to our online location
as well today we love all of our online people but I just want to encourage if you can go to a location go
if you have a family please bring your family it’s not the same
amen okay so I gotta I gotta wrap up here um
can I just tell you that people who you think are better than you are are not better
but they may have better habits they may have better financial habits
they may have better relational habits they may have better physical habits they may have better working habits they may have better Christian habits
people that you admire because they seem to always have a good attitude or be emotionally stable
strong are people whose habits are producing Health in their souls
and that’s what you’re seeing on their own left on their own without seed sowing
into their own soul meditation what they read what they say
but they allow into their soul what they let offend them and they don’t let offend them that the soul management of
their life may be better they’re not better than you are
they just have better habits there’s things they do habitually
that you haven’t yet embraced formed a habit
to do good there’s a scripture that I’ll close with it’s in Psalm 126 and it describes
people who were in a season of Oppression and struggle how they remained diligent
living as if they had hope for the future and it says this says they weep as they go to plant their seed
but they sing as they return with the Harvest
they they weep as they go they they’re in an oppressive time the enemy has basically caused them
a lot of heartache and trouble it’s difficult for them they try to grow crops and the enemy comes and steals
them and then it says this they just but they keep going out
they don’t stop so and seeds they don’t say well what’s the use what’s the use in those habits what’s
the use in sowing those seeds what’s the use and me putting the effort and the energy in
this direction why why do that it really isn’t making a difference
but rather than do that it says they again they go out
they’re weeping they’re in a difficult oppressive time in their life but they go and they do
what they plant their seed
but then the good news they sing as they return
with the Harvest and that’s beautiful
God has a plan to bless you today I said God has a plan to bless you
I said if you keep sowing seed the seed cannot be denied the seed is powerful you may not understand how it works just keep sowing
your seat you’re so good you’re going to have a good harvest you may feel like it’s not it’s not really working out better because my
kids are this my kids are that yeah you don’t know the children I’m raising like just keep sowing your seat I promise you that you will doubtless come again
that’s the way the King James version of that verse read you will doubtless come again bringing your sheaves
bringing your Harvest with you so don’t hold back seed your future
theologically holistically habitually see your future can we give
the Lord a great big hand right now can we just thank him
I will sing of the goodness
of God I may not see the Harvest now but there’s a day coming of the good news
thank you God
location I want to pray over you God I thank you today for those who are faithful to you I thank you Lord
for the word that you’ve given me to share today and for all those who have readily received this word and I thank
you God that even this word is like a seed going into the soil of our soul and I boldly declare that it will not
return to us God Boyd it will return to us in
the form of a harvest of good things in our life I thank you for every dad I thank you for every mom I pray you’ll
teach us how to be better at parenting I pray for every marriage today I pray God that
as we lean into you that you’ll show us Lord how to seed our marriage with good things I pray for people today who are
discouraged about finances in their life God that you will give them wisdom in the area of finances on how to see their
future how to move forward from where they are they feel locked down they feel frustrated they feel like there’s no hope and I pray in Jesus name that hope
will arise today and that you will give them wisdom and that you will show them the next step to gain ground their life
financially we’re believing you God you are the one we put our hope and our trust in and all good things come from you and I
thank you for the seed that you’ve given us I thank you for the seeds that you’re continuing to give us I thank you for the open doors in our life and I thank
you Lord for the opportunity of a lifetime that all of us have may we be diligent
may we be faithful with everything that you have given us and give you the glory
with our life in Jesus name we pray in Jesus name we pray if you’re here today and you say pastor Kevin I want a new
beginning in my life and my relationship with God if that’s you today if you’re a person who would say you know what I’ve been
struggling there might be somebody today struggling in your faith right now there might be somebody today who’s struggling in family relationship
maybe you’ve let you Let Yourself Go in an area or two of your life physically emotionally whatever it might be today I just want
to tell you God’s for you God’s on your side God wants to give you wisdom God wants to empower you God wants to give you a hope and a future day
and I want to invite you today to invest your life foreign
like a seed put your feel into the hands of God today I want to invite you to Salvation
to a new life of trust in God of Grace and goodness and if you’re here
today and you want a new beginning in your life your relationship with God at any of our locations or at our online location will you just put your hand up
in the air wherever you are just put your hand high in the air and say this is my day I want a new life I want a new beginning in Jesus name good hands are going up hands are going up wow wow
hands are growing up all over the room today thank God hey man if you put your hand up will you
put it back up or keep it up for a moment I’m going to lead you into prayer say this out loud Stay With Me Lord Jesus welcome to my world
come into my life come into my heart and make me a new person
I Choose You as the leader and the Lord of my life
and I boldly declare I am forgiven I am a new creation in Christ
in Jesus name and say this I’ll never be the same again in Jesus name
amen God bless you today welcome to the family of God come on let’s welcome people of the new beginning today
