What’s up everybody? How we doing today?
Hey, would you give that ovation [music] to Jesus all over the room? Come on, let’s give God a great praise in the room.
It’s so good to see you. Be seated. Be seated. It’s so awesome. Anybody thankful to be in church on a Sunday
morning? So good to be in the room with you. And it is my first time to get to be with you. And uh I remember walking
in the doors of this building. I think it was 2012 to a team church conference and just had this overwhelming sense of
home. Uh what I would describe as a supernatural sense of home, like a place I felt like I belonged. And so I I know
I’m new here. Uh but can I just treat you like family today? And can we just have a good time in the house of God?
And if you have a Bible today, I’m going to be in the book of Mark, Mark chapter 10.
And while you’re turning there, uh, I just want to say a great big welcome to all of our locations. Belleview, Dupont, Yakama, [music] online campus. I’m not going to sweat.
I’m not going to lie to you. I was sweating on how to say Yakama. So, I love you, Yakama. I hope I said that right. U, but Mark chapter 10. And I
want to just take a minute and honor pastors Kevin and Sheila Gerald. They’ve made a difference all over the world. Uh they’ve made a difference in the Seattle
metro area because of [music] Champion Center through Team Church Conference.
They’re making a difference all over the country. What I’m so thankful for is they’ve made a difference in my wife and I. [music] They’ve made a difference in our lives. And I’m so thankful for them.
I love them. I love your pastors. Would you help me honor your pastors today?
Just say [applause and cheering] thank you for everything that they do. And I want to I want to
preach a message. Can we do some work today? Champion Center. Like I I want to preach a message that I hope I don’t know what the climate of your life is
like, but I pray when we get done with these next few minutes, I pray that the climate of your life is just full of
faith and expectation for God to do something. And I I don’t know what your world view is. I don’t know what your perspective on life is. But I pray by
the time we’re done that you have a worldview that is in a place of believing our God can, our God will do
anything that he wants to do in your life, in our world, in our circumstances.
Mark chapter 10, the Bible says this. It says they were bringing children to Jesus to him that he might touch them
and the disciples rebuked them. [music] But when Jesus saw it, he was indignant.
This is not part of my message, but does it help anybody that Jesus got angry at his friends? Like that helps me. I I kind of just he was just ticked off at
his friends. And for some reason [music] that helps me. Jesus was indignant
and said to them, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of
God. Truly I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it. And he took them in his arms and he blessed them.
Don’t you love Jesus? Laying his hands on them. [music] And I want to preach a message today called the gospel of
permission. And I want to talk to you about the permission that God has given us in this life. And I I love this
passage of scripture because Jesus is doing some some public ministry. Uh, one of the things, three things that Jesus
did consistently is he would teach the principles of the kingdom. He would preach the gospel of the kingdom of God and he would heal the sick. And so he
would go out and do public ministry and and the Bible says people were trying to bring their children to Jesus so that he
could lay his hands on them, pray a prayer of blessing over them. And as they were bringing their children to
Jesus, the disciples rebuked these people like, “Hey, there’s there’s other people here. Don’t bring the children.”
And the Bible says that Jesus got angry with them for rebuking the the the people for bringing the children. And
here’s here’s just something I think is really important. And that is I I believe you got to be careful about receiving a no from people when you’ve already got a yes from God.
And and I think I think you got to be careful about where you’re receiving limitations when you’ve got some access
to some things in your life. Right now we’re we’re living in in an age of cynicism. The the primary philosophical
worldview of our world right now has has critical right in the title of it. Like
it’s a it’s an age of of cynicism. It’s an age of criticism. It’s an age of what
I would call militant unbelief. Like, it’s not just that there’s unbelievers out there. They’re aggressive in their unbelief. Like, it’s a it’s it’s
militant of the the discouragement and and and the climate of criticism and and
doubt and unbelief and jadedness and and all of that stuff. And unfortunately, I’m not just talking about the world. Uh
sometimes it even creeps into the church world. And and there’s a problem because the problem is anything God’s going to do in your life, he’s going to do
through faith. Like if you ever receive anything from God, you’re going to receive it because you believe God for
it. Because you ask God for it. And you got to be careful about getting into the idea of living with somebody else’s no.
And then I think there’s a lot of people who think God’s just simply going to do stuff. Well, if God wants to do it, he’s going to do it. And I would tell you that’s that’s not true. God’s going to
do what he’s going to do on the earth because he finds somebody that will partner with him in faith. Because somebody will partner and have faith with him and believe for him.
And you know what? I don’t think God’s going to do it. I think he’s going to give you permission to believe for it. I think he’s going to give you the permission to ask for it. I think he’s
going to give you the permission to seek for it. I think he’s going to give you the permission to go after it and believe that our God is able to do what he said he was going to do in your life.
And they’re they’re just people who who are discouraging right now.
the I call them the disciples of despair who just live in a place like that’s
that’s the that’s actually what’s been trained into them is is is despair and angst and anger and and just so so anti-
the gospel so anti- the climate of the Bible there there are people who who will discourage you from believing for
greater things discourage you towards uh believing God to give a blessing to your life,
discouraging you from believing for what or having what I would call irrational faith. I just love some irrational faith. Just I know it doesn’t make sense
to the world, but you read the Bible and you just walk out of this with this idea that I it doesn’t matter if it makes sense, God can do it. Like he can do it.
And I just like there’s just people who are discouraging towards irrational faith. and and it it shows up. And it’s
incredible to me how how many scholars there are, how many religious people there are that are sometimes discouraging to people’s faith to receive a blessing from God.
And they they can tell you uh I love it. They can tell you everything not to do.
They can tell you every restriction in the Bible. They’re they’re stuck on no.
They’re stuck on hardship. They’re they build up suffering. And and how many of you know like in fairness there are both blessing and suffering in the Bible?
Like if you read the Bible, you’re going to read about suffering, but you’re also going to read about blessing. That both hardships and favor are found in the
word of God. But but there are just there are just no people that that’s there they’re stuck on no. And and for
clarity, there are nos in the Bible. Let me say that clearly. That that this isn’t this isn’t permission to be ungodly. This isn’t permission to be
unbiblical. That’s what we call license where it’s license is where I do whatever I want to do and tell God he’s okay with it.
And this isn’t about license. This is about permission. This is about what God has put his blessing on. This is about
what God has said yes to. And there are nos in the Bible. But what you have to understand about the nos of God is that
all of the nos of God are there to protect the yeses of God. And if God closes a door, it’s because he’s got a
better door open for your life. He’s got something else that he wants to do in your life. And so, thank God for every
no because every no is just there to help guide us to the yes that God has for your life. And there there’s some
really dangerous thinking out there in in the world today. If you’ve ever I know you guys use your time a lot more wisely than I do, so you’re probably not
on social media, but if you’ve ever been on this thing called social media, uh like there there’s just these these
critical ideas and and one of the most dangerous thinkings out there is that you can’t include yourself in the Bible.
That when you read the Bible, it’s you should be disconnected from it. And it kind of goes like this that you’re not
David and and your problems aren’t Goliath and you should not read the Bible about like that because and this is the point. The Bible isn’t about you.
And here’s what I would tell you. That’s true. The Bible isn’t about you. But I’d like to tell you the Bible is for you.
And it’s there to tell you that if God did it in their life, he can do it in your life. That he’s the same yesterday, today, and forever. that what God did is a prophecy of what God’s about to do.
That if God has done it, that means he can do it, he will do it, and he’s about to do it in your life.
And it’s it’s interesting to me because the the no people have what I call selective inclusion.
Like it it’s it’s selective in what it includes because they’ll include you in the suffering but not the blessing.
They’ll include you in the persecution of Paul, but not the blessing of Abraham.
They’ll tell you you can be Jo Judas, but they won’t tell you you can be Joseph and experience the favor of God in every circumstance of your life. And
here’s what we have to make a decision is I’m not going to live by nobody else’s no. I’ve been told no by banks.
I’ve been told no by government entities. But what they didn’t know was God had already said yes. And in a world full of no, all I need is one yes from
God. That’s all I need is just one yes from God.
How how do you work out like God has said yes. So how do you work out the yeses of God in your life? And I think
one of the things that that trips us up is just the idea of outcomes.
Like every person at every location today, I promise you if you’ve ever asked God for something, believe God for something, you’ve probably sometimes
received an outcome you didn’t expect or you wasn’t what you asked for. And I I think people struggle with outcomes.
Like I I’ve prayed and believed for stuff that didn’t that didn’t happen the the way I asked for it. I I prayed for a woman to die one time and she didn’t die.
before you go getting all judgmental. I was given bad information.
I was told she was very elderly. I told the doctors had said it was her time that they had put her in hospice and the family asked me to come pray. I was a
long way away. It took me forever to get there. Finally got to the facility. I walk in. There’s nobody. It’s the weirdest thing. There’s nobody no staff
around. I stumble on a room. She’s laying in a bed that’s only a bed. The lights are off. Her eyes are closed.
kind of like trying to figure out if there’s like am I too late? Am I here on time? I go sit down by her side. I just
start praying earnestly. Lord, let her be at peace and let her but not be in pain and let her have a smooth transition and God just be with her. And
she goes, thank you for the prayers, pastor.
It wasn’t hospice. It was rehab. She was getting out of the hospital.
I have I have no idea what she was thinking when I was praying that prayer.
She was probably expecting me to get the pillow and just be like, “Can you can you see Jesus yet?” You
know, I I’m kind of thankful I’m not in charge of outcomes.
I’d have crossed that lady over. Like she would have been she went and lived in Florida for a long time. She had many years ahead of her. But I was trying to end her life.
Here’s the thing is we’re not guaranteed outcomes, but you are guaranteed access.
Like and I want to I want to let you know like I don’t I don’t know how outcomes outcomes belong to God, but access belongs to us. that God has given
us access. And in in the story that we just read, the the people were bringing children to Jesus, that he could lay his hands on them, that he could bless them.
And the disciples cut off their access because in that culture, children didn’t have rights. The the children of were at that time were seen with very low value.
In fact, you didn’t even you weren’t even considered a son until you’d reached an adulthood and proven you were worthy of sunship so that you could receive the inheritance. And so the
disciples were acting according to culture. And that was when Jesus paused this moment and said, “No, that’s that’s
culture. That’s not kingdom.” That that you’re acting like culture, but that’s that’s worldly culture. That’s not kingdom culture. The kingdom of God is
you don’t have to have an age. You don’t have to have a level of status. You don’t have to receive. You don’t have to get to a certain level of status or
achievement to earn something. That’s not how the kingdom of God works. That’s what the point that Jesus is making in all of this is you don’t have to earn
it. Jesus made it clear that the way that you would receive in the world is you’ve got to deserve it. But the way that you would receive from God is
you’ve got to believe for it. That there has to be a moment of faith. And he said, “Don’t hinder don’t hinder the little children just because they haven’t been able to work.
just because they haven’t proven themselves, just because they haven’t reached an age. Don’t cut off their access to the blessing. They don’t have
to wait to get to a place where they can receive the access for God. And I love Hebrews 4:16. It says, “Let us then with
confidence draw near to the throne of grace that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in a time of need.” You
know what that tells us? Can I approach Jesus for a miracle? Yes. Can I believe God to move a mountain? Yes. Can I ask God to do something? It’s the gospel of permission. I can come with confidence.
And it’s not about how long I’ve been in church and it’s not about how what position I hold in the church. And it’s not about what a super saint I am. It’s
faith in God that gives me access to the throne of grace that when I step into that moment of believing God, of having
faith in his name, that it’s not about how long I’ve been a Christian and it’s not about what I’ve done to earn it. It is the authenticity of faith that gives
me access to the throne of grace. And I don’t know what kind of grace you’re leaving with. The grace may look like a miracle. The grace may look like a
mountain move. Or the grace may look like strength to make it another day.
But when you leave that place, you’re leaving with the grace of God because you have access to a throne called grace.
How do you how do you work out the yeses of God in your life? And I I just believe that there should be a a
tenacity to our faith, a a little push through in our faith.
Now, I believe that that permission should inspire persistence that there if you know you’ve been given
permission from God to believe for promises to put petitions before him, then it it
should just mark the life of a believer that we are the ones who are always believing that that there’s just a there’s just a lack of quitting. And you
you see all through the Bible that there were people who had restrictions on their life.
And I I I can’t help but get this sense that that maybe today I’m I’m talking to some people
who through circumstances of life just feel like they’re in a place their life is marked by restrictions,
defined by limitations, defined by limiting circumstances.
And and our world does something and and it our world problematizes like there’s some type of reward for
being able to find problems and we tend to we tend to make everything catastrophic.
And the problem with problematization is it leads to victimization.
And I I I don’t believe God ever intended for you to live as a victim of your circumstance.
that God’s got something greater for your life. The Bible tells us the story of a woman.
She’s called the woman with the issue of blood. She had some sort of uh disease for 12 years because of the nature of of
her disease. The law declared her unclean, which meant she couldn’t touch people.
Anything she touched would become unclean. So her her whole world was was filled with no everywhere she went it
was a no. The Bible says that she went to doctors for 12 years and you know what she heard? No.
Can I go see my family? No. Can I hug my children? No. Can I kiss my husband? No.
Can I go be a part of community? No. Can I go sit in that place in the community?
No. Everything about her life was defined by the word no until one day she did something that was so
counterultural. Come on, can we be some countercultural Christians in this day and age? It was so it was against every
law of society. It was against every law of culture. One day she heard about a man named Jesus. And even though everything in her life, everything that
was going on around her was a no. A no, she just puts like I want you to think about this. The Bible says that there
was a mass of people around Jesus, which meant she was not supposed to touch any one of those people. But she just kept
pressing through the no. And she just kept moving forward in her faith. And from 12 years, it was a no from the law.
From 12 years, it was a no from the doctors. For 12 years, it was a no from culture. But when she touched Jesus, it was a yes from Jesus. Like there was a
yes moment in her life. Like just one moment. like everything around her is defined by no. And I want to promise you
this. What you touch by faith will touch you. That if you will just keep repeatingly touching something by faith.
I’m so thankful you’re in God’s house today because if you keep showing up in God’s house with faith, God’s house will mark your life. If you keep showing up
with faith and worship, the presence and power of God will mark your life. If you keep showing up in prayer, if you keep showing up in the word of God, like if
you just keep repeatedly showing up in spite of everything the world is telling you, I promise it will leave its mark on your life because what you touch by
faith is going to touch you. [applause] You’ve got to work out like there’s
there’s a yes for your life. You you’ve got to work it out in your life. God’s God’s looking to partner with somebody.
And it I just have this sense that sometimes we live so far less than what God intended for us.
Like there’s there’s just so much more.
I’m I’m so thankful for this church, this house. Come on. This is a moving forward church. This is a church of greater things. This is a church that
believes for great and mighty things. is I believe we’ve been given permission from God to pursue some stuff.
And and I believe permission is potential that shouldn’t be wasted.
Can Can you imagine when we get to heaven and we find out what all we could have believed God for on the earth?
I don’t I don’t even think it’s going to work that way. So, just go with me on this unbiblical journey for just a moment. I don’t I don’t I think I think it would create so much regret that we I
don’t think we’re going to have that much regret in heaven. that when we look back, we would be able to see if I had just asked.
If I had just believed, if I had just taken that step, if I if I if id have just had the faith
to believe for it, what what could God have done? I I believe there’s some potential that sometimes we leave on the table.
My my staff, myself and some of our staff, every the beginning of the year, we we do this deal where you read the Bible through in 30 days, and it’s it’s
intense. It’s a lot of it’s a lot of reading and and so you’re reading large chunks of the Bible at a time. So,
you’re just you’re cruising through a lot of information in a day. And e every year, I promise you, every year that we do this where we’re reading the Bible
through in 30 days. Every year I get to the Chronicles and this happens because I don’t know if you’ve ever read the Bible, but when you get to the
Chronicles, there’s all of these names that you can’t pronounce.
It’s like zippity doo datasif sheckham and you’re like I don’t know
who these people are and every year every year the story of a man named JZ sneaks up on me.
It’s it’s just such a few little verses tucked in just such an kind of honestly odd place in the Bible to put this story.
But I love that the Bible includes it.
The Bible says that his his mother identified him. The name Jabz was an identification around the pain that was
surrounding the birth uh the circumstances of his birth.
And evidently it must have been a painful circumstance. Evidently it must have been a a negative circumstance.
And literally the identity of his life was marked by by living within the
restrictions of the circumstances that he was born in. But there was something about Jabz that decided that I want to
believe God for something greater in my life. Like that was the simplicity of it was that he wanted to believe God. That his circumstances didn’t have to be the
identifying factor of his life. that what he was born into did not have to define the boundaries and the limitations of his world and his life.
And the Bible says this in 1 Chronicles 4:10 that Jabz called upon the God of Israel, saying, “Oh, that you would
bless me and enlarge my border and that your hand might be with me and that you would keep me from harm so that it might
not bring me pain.” And the Bible says, “And God granted what he asked.” That God just simply gave him a yes. I I call
it [applause] I call it I call it the nod of God. Just Just you asked God for something and
it’s just like God nods his head and then all of a sudden you’re in this position where you’re experiencing what it is that you believed God for. God
gave him the nod. And I love this because I feel like we’re in a culture and a place even among Christianity
where we have to qualify asking for a blessing. And what I love about Jabz was he didn’t try to qualify it. He didn’t make bartering. He didn’t barter with
God and try to promise God if you’ll do this then I’ll do this and listen I believe in tithing a tithe. I believe in tithing. I believe in being generous. I
believe God blesses us so we can tithe and be generous. But but Jabz didn’t he he didn’t qualify it. He didn’t say, “God, if you’ll bless me, I’ll help the
children in Papa New Guinea. God, if you’ll do this, then I’ll barter with you and I’ll be a good Christian and I’ll be a good person.” No, just Jabz
had the audacity, God, could you do something more in my life? And this story is about the faith of Jabz, but it’s more about the character of God.
That our God is greater. That our God is a God that loves to bless. That our God is a God of more than enough. That he is
not the God of enough. He is the God of more than enough. He’s the God of exceedingly. He’s the God of abundantly.
He’s a God of above and beyond what you can ask, think, or imagine. And I want to encourage you. What if God was that
good that you could just ask him for a blessing that he could enlarge the circumstances of your life?
And I think one of the things that people really trip over is not not necessarily the ability of
God when talking about like the permission, the the promises, the the yes of God. I
I don’t think it’s so much about the ability of God because let’s be honest, it’d be kind of foolish to sit in this room and believe that God created the
universe, but he couldn’t do something supernatural, right? I mean, that’s kind of like he created the world, but you know, you can’t do that. Okay. Well, that’s weird.
You know what I think we don’t I think we struggle with isn’t the ability of God. It’s the willingness of God.
It’s not whether or not God is able.
It’s not It’s whether or not God can do it for us. The the ability of God is impersonal.
The will of God is personal. It It brings it into our life. And I just want to tell you today, I believe God is able, but I believe God is willing.
That not only does he have the ability, but he has the willingness.
And one day there was a a leper who came to Jesus. And again, just talking about people who live lives of restrictions.
Everything I said about the woman with the issue of blood would have applied to his life as well. Everywhere he looked was a no. Everywhere he looked was a
restriction. Everywhere he looked was a confinement. Everywhere he looked was a identif identity that defined his life.
And you know what the question that he had for Jesus is? The question we’re talking about right now in Luke 5 12-13.
The Bible says while Jesus was in one of those cities, there came a man full of leprosy.
And when he saw Jesus, he fell on his face and begged him. And here was his
question. Lord, if you will, if you will, I know you can do it.
I know you can make me clean.
But but will you? I know you have the ability. Come on.
And Jesus stretched out his hand, touched him, saying, I will
be clean and immediately the leprosy left his life.
What if it was the will of God to say yes over your life? What what if it was the will of God to say yes over your circumstances?
You know, the writer James reminded us that we have not because we ask not.
So, I just have this little theory in life is I just ask God for everything.
What’s the worst that could happen?
He says, “No.” So, I’m just going to ask God because I’ve been given the gospel of
permission that I can seek a supernatural God who does supernatural things in supernatural ways. And I’m just going to seek I’m going to look is
it is it your will? And I just want to remind you today that you can be set free. I just want to remind you today that you can be blessed. I want to remind you today that you can receive a
miracle. I want to remind you today that you can be filled with the Holy Spirit.
I want to remind you today that you can see a mountain move. I want to remind you today that you can see a vision fulfilled. I want to remind you today that you can receive a dream from God. I
want to remind you today that you can receive a calling from God. I want to remind you that in spite of your circumstances, you can be used by God.
And I want to remind you today that if you have faith, you can be touched by the almighty God. Like there’s a there’s a permission, there is a will of God for [applause] your life.
Oh man, I just felt faith rise in the room. Come on, let’s let’s give God some praise. We’re going to believe God for some great and mighty things today.
Come on, give him your best praise right now.
Just Just stand with me if you don’t mind. I I want to Paul drops some of the most
powerful truth in some of the most random places. Like Paul Paul does uh this stuff. He he he’s talking about
super practical things and then he he drops these eternal truths and it’s almost like he was inspired by the Holy
Spirit. You know what I’m saying? Like it’s almost like when he was writing that there was some sort of supernatural influence on his life. He, if you’re new
to church, he was inspired by the Holy Spirit. That’s very important. Very important.
And he and he’s writing to the church at Corinth and his plans had to change.
Like this, he’s talking about his calendar. That’s what he’s writing about. Like his calendar had to change because of his circumstances. And he wanted people to know Paul had been in
the ministry for a while and he knew he was about to get criticism. That’s how you know you’ve been in the ministry for a while. Is he anticipating criticism?
And so he goes, “I know you’re going to I know you’re going to think that I’m fickle, that when I say one thing, I do another thing, and that’s not true.” And he’s explaining it in 2 Corinthians 1
20. He drops just in the middle of this most practical thing, he drops this most powerful truth. And he says, “For all of
God’s promises have been fulfilled in Christ with a resounding yes.” And through Christ, our amen, which means
yes, ascends to God for his glory. And I just want to let you understand this
today. I pray you receive it. I pray you understand it. But I just want to remind you today that you are living under the yes of heaven. That God from heaven has
already spoken a yes over your life. And I don’t know what the confinement is. I don’t know what the identity is. I don’t know what family has said about you. I
don’t know what people have spoken over your life. I don’t know what the restrictions are. But I know that above your head right now is the yes of heaven. God has already placed a yes
over your life. I don’t know how many nos you’re dealing with. I don’t know how many nos you’re experiencing. I don’t know how many closed doors are going on around you. And I don’t know
how many people are trying to be critical. And I don’t know what your spirit is tending towards. But I just want to remind you that echoing from heaven is a yes from the almighty God that you can be what he said you can be.
And you can do what you said you can do and you can have what God said you can have. And we don’t have to live under this. But what God is looking for, there
are two yeses in that passage. There is the yes of heaven. But you know what God is looking for? He’s looking from the yes from the earth. The one that will
say, “I will agree with you. I will partner with you.” And that’s what faith does. Faith reaches up into heaven and
it pulls heaven down into our earth. It pulls heaven into our world. Your will be done. Your will come to pass in our
life. But here’s the problem. Here’s the problem is that faith is exceptional.
when you when you read the Bible, faith is always people with [music] faith are always an extreme minority.
That that that in a culture full of people who are critical, like if you want to be a person of faith, you’re going to have to stand out.
The the biblical term for it would be a remnant. that in the earth where there’s people that are [music] just trending
towards all of this negativity, doom, [music] jadedness, militant unbelief. You know
what God’s looking for? He’s just looking for a handful of people who say God can do what he said he was going to do. Because faith is always exceptional.
It’s always rare. [music] 12 12 spies go into the place that God had already said yes to. Like the land of yes, the
promised land, God had already said you can have it. God had already given them their permission to go get it. And you know what happened? 12 spies [music] go
in, 10 come back saying, “No, no, no, no.” But there were two that said, “God said it. Yes, we can do it. We can.” The Bible [music] says they had a different
There was something different about them. They had a different spirit. And every time as you read the Bible, like [music] 10 lepers receive something from
God. One returns full of faith and worship to worship God. There were many people who needed a healing, but there was one woman who reached out and touched the hem of his [music] garment.
There were blind people all over, but there was one that began to cry out, “Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me.” And you know what he got? He got
his [music] healing. He got his yes. And it’s not about the majority, even among people who are believers. The Bible says the disciples were on a boat [music] on
a stormy night in the Sea of Galilee and the storm is raging and everything is going on around them and Jesus [music]
comes walking to them on the water and they were so spiritual they thought he was a ghost. They thought he was a water phantom. This is the foundation of our
church. They their theology [music] was that that was a water ghost and and Jesus is walking to them on the water and they’re afraid. But one of them
goes, “Hey Jesus, if [music] that’s you, 11 of them are clinging to fear and clinging to anxiety and clinging to the
world, clinging to everything in their life.” And the Apostle Peter goes, “Lord, if that’s you, [music] can I step
out of this boat?” And it’s the gospel of permission. Jesus said, “Yes, you can supernaturally walk
over what it is that’s causing [music] the fear in your life, of what’s causing the stress, of what’s causing the limitation.” Can we believe God [music]
that he is the God that gives us the permission? That he’s the God that gives us the opportunity. That he’s the God [music] that has spoken a yes over our
life. And he’s not going to do it, but he will partner with somebody who wants to do it. That he will do it in your life. that he is the [music] God that
can move the mountain. Come on, all over this room, every location. Would you [music] just take a minute?
We’re gonna we’re going to believe God for some things today.
And I don’t know I don’t know who needs to touch [music] the hymn of his garment, but I believe with all of my heart the presence of God is in every environment right now.
There’s [music] a supernatural touch from God.
And it’s like, well, what if it doesn’t happen? Yeah, but what if it does?
Well, I don’t know about outcomes. Well, outcomes don’t belong to us. Faith [music] belongs to us. Faith is my responsibility. Outcome is God’s responsibility. [music]
I steward, man. I I feel the presence of God right now. I steward this [music] life by being in a position of faith towards
God. I steward this life by living in a place of believing that God is able to do what he said he was going to do. And it doesn’t matter what the world says.
And it doesn’t matter what my circumstances look like. I have a posture [music] towards heaven that says God is who he says he is. And I can
trust his character. And I can trust his nature. And that he’s a God that blesses. And that he’s a God that increases. And that he’s a God that
enlarges. And that he’s a God that pours out dreams and visions on his sons and daughters. That he’s a God that moves mountains. That he’s a God that parts
red seas. That he’s a God that turns sickness into healing. That he’s the God that heals bodies, heals minds, heals marriages, heals [music] families. And
in a world full of destruction, he’s the one that brings wholeness and healing into our lives. Come on, let me pray for you for just a moment all over this room. I don’t know what it is, [music]
but we just let your faith rise for a minute. Father, I pray [music] in the mighty name of Jesus, I pray, audaciously.
Right now, I just have this [music] sense that we we just need to break some agreements [music] and some strongholds of what labels have been placed on us.
And God, like the disciples, we we may have let some culture get in us that’s cutting off our access to you. [music]
And right now, Father, every every lying tongue, every word that is [music] spoken against your
plans and your purpose, your promises, [music] every every critical thing, every every negative circumstances that
is preaching to us a louder message than what you’ve preached to us in the word of God. Right now, I silence all of that. We [music] turn the volume down on
all of that. And right now we turn up the word of God and we believe that you’re able to do what you said you would do.
I pray right now in the mighty name of Jesus.
Come on. Would you just receive for a moment in the name of Jesus?
I pray for somebody to re receive [music] a touch that redefes their life that changes the
limitations that breaks the agreement with what JZ’s mom put on you
said these [music] are the circumstances and this is the identity of your life that breaks agreement with the culture of the world [music] that says I’m going
to be a person of audacious faith who believes God is able. And not only is he able, [music]
come on, he’s willing to do it in your life. Can we just give God a moment of praise and worship in this room? Come on. Would you lift up the name of Jesus
together? Every hour, every minute, you always been there. [music] You are faithful and you always will be.
Every tri, every failure, [singing] you are loyal to me. [music]
You are faithful [singing] and you always will be.
Every hour, [singing] every minute, you have [music] always been there.
You are faithful and you always will be.
Every child, every day, you are loyal to me.
You are faithful [music] as you always will be.
You are faithful [music] as you always will be.
I don’t know. I don’t know if [music] you’ve ever asked this or wondered this like, “God, could you ever forgive me?
God, [music] could I ever have a fresh start or a new beginning?
Could this day be different than the last day? Could I have an opportunity to begin again?” [music] I don’t know if you’ve ever wondered that, but I can tell you the answer. The
answer is yes. Go. You can experience the grace of God. Yes. Today could be a brand new day in Jesus [music] Christ.
And if you’re in this room today and you don’t have a relationship with Jesus, that there’s not that place of dependence and trust on him. Come on. I
want you to experience and I know right now that there might be some circumstances in your life, there might be some shame. There might be some guilt
that is raining no down on you. [music] And I just want to remind you, the yes of heaven is over your life.
You have permission to begin a relationship with Jesus Christ right here, right now. Anybody want to believe that that today is somebody’s day to begin to begin again.
Come on, if that’s you, all over the room. [applause] All over the room. If that’s you, we’re going to pray this prayer together. I
want you to pray it out loud. I want you to pray it like you’ve already got an answer [music] called Yes from God. You ready for this? Come on. All over the room, say this prayer. Say, “Lord [music] Jesus, Lord Jesus.
I receive you now. I receive. Come into my heart. Come into my life.
Forgive me of my past. Wash away [music] my sin. Make me a new person.”
Today I receive you as my leader and my Lord. And I’ll never be the same [music]
in Jesus name. And everybody said, “Amen.” Come on. Would you give all of those that just prayed that prayer?
Would you give them a great hand right now? Come on, let’s celebrate all of those that just prayed [music] that prayer. [applause]
