Welcome to church. How many of you know God’s faithful?
Come on. How many of you know God is good?
Over the Easter season, we had 173 people that were baptized in water.
God God is God is moving in our church. God is moving in the life of our church.
And uh we’re going to have a summer baptism, by the way. It’ll be coming up in another couple months, I think, and planning on doing an outdoor uh baptism.
If some of you didn’t get in on this one, you want to get in on the next one.
Uh it it’s coming up. Also want to thank the Lord. Over a hundred of our youth received the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
We had a we had a one big night over in Belleview and uh my wife Sheila was with the young people and all of all of our
youth, you made her day. Uh you made her day. You gave her an opportunity to put her baseball cap on backwards
and fit right in with all of you. And we love all of our young people so much.
and she had such a great time with all of you.
How many of you know God has a great plan for our life and for our future? Do you know that today?
Amen. I want to I want to ask you to remain standing just for a minute. And uh I’m going to I’m going to pastor you
for a moment. Okay? Uh I I’m your preacher. I’m your um I I even lead a song. I just showed you I can lead
worship can lead worship like but I want to I want to just pastor our church for a moment. I I want to begin by saying
thank you to all of our givers. I want to thank those of you who tithe to our church.
And this would be probably a good time also to just thank some of you.
There are there are many people a lot of people I don’t know how to phrase it but who have
moved out of state who are part of our church family.
And uh I I want to thank those of you who are online wherever you are today
that are still supporting our church and giving to our church and tithing to our church because you have a heart for the
Northwest. And I want to thank you for that and thank you for your encouragement. I want to I want to also
say something that I feel like I need to say and that is that every year we have this big offering giving thing called
legacy offering and it is amazing and you guys know it’s awesome. It is it is such a great opportunity. We love it.
We’ve been doing it for many many years.
But our legacy offering are are putting us in a great position to invest in the
future of our church by investing in the next generation and our church kids and our youth spaces and our events and
properties and buildings. We have we have two building projects going on.
Many people don’t know that. like we we are in the process of building new buildings at two of our locations and that we haven’t broke ground yet, but it
we’re preparing for it and we’re in permit process and all of that. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you for the legacy offering, but I think some people might
give to the legacy offering every year and assume that that covers or takes the place of the ongoing operational expenses that we have as a church. And I
want to just say that without tithing, we don’t have an operational income for the church.
Uh God set up the principle of tithe as a way that we could all invest the same
percentage of our income for the operational needs of our church. And if we’re your church,
I want to remind you that we have no corporate sponsors.
And even if we did, they would have probably abandoned us by now.
And so I just want to ask you, if you don’t tithe, will you consider tithing?
Will you consider giving? Will you consider starting today with a percentage-based giving plan? And I even
want to say to young couples who are you’re you’re feeling the pinch. You’re feeling like barely getting by. Maybe some of you, I don’t I don’t know, or
grandpas and grandmas and young parents who I I I just want to remind you that we’re on a mission for your children.
We’re on a mission for this season, for this hour to move forward into the future and to have a house like this
house. And I I just want to remind you that we we are consistently
fighting for the future of our church.
And so even if you have to adjust or figure out or make room for tithing or a percentage start somewhere, right?
Would you would you consider doing that rather than leaving it to somebody else or Thank you.
I know we have a generous church and we have generous people at our church and this principle of putting God first and
keeping God first is really at the center of what we’re doing right now. And I know many of you are so grateful.
You’re thankful that we are leaning in like we’re leaning in and we are seeing the future that we have. And I know God
will bless you individually and God will God will bless us as a church.
Uh if if we’ll just be obedient and seek first the kingdom of God, all the other things will be added. Amen.
Not only not only do we have two building programs going on, but we literally before the end of this year, our our children’s
uh at at all of our location, our children’s centers are going to have a complete makeover. And I’m I’m I’m not
joking like we’re not playing. This will be the best probably children’s ministry setup that you have ever seen in the world.
And and again, legacy offering is where a lot of that you you give and we and we plan and you give and we build and you
give and we get out there and do what you are empowering us to do in terms of legacy offering. It’s the week to week
to week to week thing that I’m going to ask you to revisit it. Think about it.
And again, I want to thank all of you who are already doing it. Amen.
Okay. Thank you for standing. Stand just a moment more. Are you good? Everybody okay? Every location, you good? You
good? I want to talk today about the presence and the purpose and the power of the Holy Spirit.
And we’re going to go to Acts chapter 1 in just a moment, but I want to give you a little bit of the background. the the
background on the text that I’m going to read. And here’s the deal. We just had Easter and we celebrated the
resurrection. Well, in the 50 days following Jesus resurrection, he talked about two things. The coming of the kingdom and the coming of the Holy Spirit.
That that was his focus for 50 days after resurrection. He was preparing and making sure that the disciples knew what was coming.
And he was saying, “Look, I’m not going to leave you leave you without what you need.” And and I’m not going to leave you uh comfortless. I’m going uh there’s
another who is coming. And he’s laying all the groundwork for the kingdom. And he’s using that terminology. The kingdom is coming. Pray that way. Wait. Pray
kingdom come. Will of God be done. That was his focus. So, some background that I’m going to give you is that
when you read the book of Acts, and what I’m going to read today, it was written by a man named Luke
who was who also wrote the the the third book of the Gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke. He wrote that. But here’s the interesting thing. He was not one of the 12 apostles of Jesus.
Luke was a doctor. means he was smart.
He was a Greek physician means he had some brain power going on.
And very educated in Greek culture and he had become a follower of Jesus.
It’s just interesting and I want you to keep it in mind that he’s the one who wrote about and
took notes on the Holy Spirit not only before
before and in recap of Jesus being here and resurrection, but he’s the one who took notes on Acts chapter 2 when there was an outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
Greek educated doctor. Not goofy, right?
Not fruity, not nutty like alphabet soup or whatever it is like or granola soup. That’s he he wasn’t that.
All right. He was capturing and recording what’s happening in the book of Acts. And he starts with chapter one.
I’m going let you sit down. I promise. I just want to read it. Here’s his writings in Acts one one. And it’ll go up on the screen. In my former book,
he’s meaning the book of Luke, I wrote about all that Jesus began to do and to teach until the day that he was taken up into heaven after giving instruction
through the Holy Spirit to the apostles that he had chosen. And after his suffering, he presented himself to them and gave them convincing proof that he
was alive. So he resurrected. He gave all of this convincing proof that he was alive. He appeared to them over a 40-day
over a period of 40 days. He spoke about the kingdom of God. On one occasion while he was eating with them, he gave them this command. Do not leave
Jerusalem. Don’t leave Jerusalem. Wait for the gift my father promised, which you have heard me speak about. For John
baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.
Then they gathered around him and they asked him, “Lord, are are you at this time going to restore the kingdom of Israel?” They’re still thinking about
the Messiah coming, a restoration on earth of the kingdom of he said to them, “It is not for you to know the times, the dates the father set by his own
authority.” But let’s get back to the point. He says, “You’re going to receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you
and you’re going to be witnesses in Jerusalem and Judea and Samaria and to the ends of the earth.” Amen. Let’s give the word of the Lord a great big hand, will you?
All right, you may be seated.
So verse four, Jesus directs them to not leave Jerusalem but wait for the promise of the father which you have heard me
speak about. He says verse 6 and 7 the disciples anticipated that Jesus would establish his physical
kingdom and that’s what they were thinking was going to happen with himself as the king in Jerusalem. That was prophesied in the Old Testament.
They had heard that all their lives.
This is what the Messiah is going to come to do. Verse eight, Jesus is right back to saying, “But you will receive power. After that, the Holy Spirit comes
upon you.” Now, I think every time that we talk about the Holy Spirit, people can get nervous.
And it seemed like like in Christianity and believers, we’re cool with God the Father. And we definitely like Jesus.
We can relate to him. He slept. 8 all that had a lot in common with me. But the Holy Spirit makes some people nervous.
Uh usually depending on their past and their church experiences and their church culture and I I know that and I
understand that and I can understand why for for some people that it’s that way.
I mean, when some people hear that right now that I’m going to talk about the Holy Spirit, they immediately assume that I’m going to talk about something
really wild and crazy that goes on in those those churches.
The one that I grew up in or that Pentecostal, you know, where people fall down, get up, run around, shake and bake and all of that other kind of stuff.
Like that’s where their mind goes.
And I don’t have any problem with any of that. Like I can shake and bake with the best of you. like I I I’m okay with it all. I’m okay.
But if that scares you, that’s really not what we’re talking about. And if you’re like, “Oh man, you want me to do that, PK? You want me to jump and holler
and spit and all that?” That’s not what we’re talking about. So just relax. Tell
your neighbor, say, “Relax.” Because you don’t have to do any of that.
And and then so there’s that group of people and then there’s others who are like the believers in Acts chapter 19
who were asked by the Apostle Paul like he he ran into these believers and they’re believers and they’re they’re serving God and all of that and and and
he just simply said to them, “Have y’all received the Holy Spirit since you believed?” And they said, “Well, not even really
have I heard about the Holy Spirit.” So whichever one of those you’re in, like if you’re in the well, I haven’t really
heard much about it, don’t know much about the Holy Spirit, like that topic that or if you’re in the camp, the shake
and bay camp and or you’re just like resistant or welcoming or whatever it might be. Whichever
whatever place you’re at, my main goal is to have you understand that the Holy Spirit is here. Amen.
And is God sent and is God is of God. And just open up your life
to his presence in your everyday life.
That that’s my goal today. All right.
Let let me begin with this. The Holy Spirit is the invisible tangible presence of God.
Meaning that if you have ever felt God’s presence, that’s the Holy Spirit.
If God’s ever talked to you, not talking about audible, but just you
sense something, a voice. The prophet Isaiah wrote about the coming of the Holy Spirit in the future, and he called
it, “There was a voice behind me that said, there’s the way. walk in it. Like if
you’ve ever had this sense that you were not alone, that’s the Holy Spirit.
In the book of Acts, seven different descriptions
uh uh existed about I’m going to go through the the list, but describing the Holy Spirit and referred to and described seven different ways. So
believers received the Holy Spirit, were baptized by the Holy Spirit, were filled
with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit fell on the believers. It says the Holy Spirit came on the believers. The Holy Spirit rested on the believers.
The spirit was poured out on the believers like seven different ways.
Sometimes we get all hung up on verbiage and terminology and and and they’re just writing in the book of Acts like they’re writing what they know, what they see,
what they experience. The spirit of God is mentioned over 800 times in scripture.
Think about that.
Jesus said this. He said, “God is a spirit,
and those who worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” Don’t know if you’ve ever noticed in your Bible, but those who worship him in spirit,
it’s an it’s a small s must worship him in capital S, spirit and in truth.
So the Holy Spirit is the invisible tangible invisible tangible
presence of God. You can think about it like this. The spirit of God
is invisible but present and tangible in in the same way that sound waves
or radio frequency exists. May maybe that your phone just rings.
Well, why does your phone just ring?
Because it’s it’s something going through the air, landing on your cell phone. Are you going to deny that it’s there?
Are you going to deny that something hit your cell phone, your number, and the phone rang? Somebody is calling you.
Like technology is actually helping us build the case for a real God.
Who is present who is calling us? Yeah, he’s got your number.
You know, I’ve told people who have a hard time, you know, knowing if God really knows or God really sees or is
God really present. I’ve said, “Listen, listen. Just think about this.” like try not paying your taxes.
The IRS will find you.
And if the IRS can find you, God almighty can find you.
Well, I just want to see. I just want to see. If I see, I’ll believe. Have you ever seen your brain?
So why do you think you have one?
Do you understand what I’m trying to say? We get so hung up sometimes with doubting mindsets that we we disconnect
from the reality that we’re actually living in a world where the invisible powers are present in our everyday life.
Another way you could think about the spirit of God is like water in the atmosphere.
Invisible, but if it weren’t in the atmosphere right now, you you and I wouldn’t be
breathing, right?
There’s water in the atmosphere that is lifegiving, right?
You don’t see it, but it’s life-giving to plants. Yes. lifegiving to grass and trees.
You just got to be careful when you start. I’ll believe it when I see it. Hang on a minute.
We got to believe in the presence of God.
If you believe in all these other things, why would you hold back on the God who created the great universe to
operate the way it op? We we’re learning and finding out more every day about God’s creation. I read the other day
like we have not yet gone to the boundaries of the universe by telescope or any other way. Man does not know where it ends.
I’m talking about a big God. I’m talking about creation.
I’m talking about a creator who created the heavens and the earth. Right.
So just like water is a source of life and growth and the Holy Spirit is a source of spiritual life and energy and strength.
Man is three-part and I’m going to go back to an illustration. If you were here, you’ll remember that I used this illustration when I was teaching on the soul.
And and I’ll just recap real quickly cuz I think I actually said at least one of the weeks in the series that I’m going to go back to this and teach about the
Holy Spirit. I couldn’t do it all at the same time, but we’re back. So So the the
vase represents our our our body. We are three part as human beings. We are body, right? The
netting and represents your soul. And we have the blocks in there, the the mind, the will, and the emotions because I was
demonstrating how your soul encompasses those three areas of your life. All
right? The soul envelops your mind and your will and your emotions. And we then
we said the water is our spirit, the spirit man.
And you’re going to remember.
Yeah, I’m going for it. Some of y’all, you do remember, right?
That would be a tragedy today.

We said the Holy Spirit comes poured out.
Is that not cool? Is that not cool?
Filling our spirit.
The Holy Spirit is the invisible presence of God in the atmosphere.
Just like H2O water in the atmosphere, but the Holy Spirit also comes. And this is what Jesus talked about when he said,
“Don’t leave Jerusalem until until what, Jesus?” “Until you be filled
with the Holy Spirit.” The Holy Spirit doesn’t just come to hang out around us. The Holy Spirit has
come to be in us.
Ain’t that great?
Let me talk a little bit about Let me talk a little bit about what happens.
Let Let me say this. I kept telling myself like, “Don’t get too hung up on the jar. There’s a lot you could say
about the jar. You can see I’m trying right now. I’m trying to I I want to just say that
the dye it’s all blue. It’s all the Holy Spirit has filled the person.
But what I want to say is that I think sometimes we don’t realize the need for continuing
to be filled with the Holy Spirit.
This is that this is not like just well well yeah Pastor Kevin I think I was 14 years old. I was at youth camp
and I remember the Holy Spirit just came filled me. Has anything happened since then?
Cuz it’s kind of like let me explain it like this.
Hopefully none of you got drunk on Friday night.
I’m going to look at your eyes right now. I’m going to The Bible says, “Don’t be drunk with wine,
wherein is excess, but be filled with the spirit.” Right?
So, it it matches it up. I didn’t make it up. It matches it up in the Bible as an example.
But don’t be drunk with wine where it is excess. My point is that if anybody got drunk Friday night, I’m pretty sure you’re sober by now.
If you got filled with the spirit 12 years ago, 6 years ago, 8 months ago, do you understand what I’m
saying? The plan of God is for us to continually drink in his presence.
To take in his presence, to be filled with his presence.
Amen. To pray in the spirit to be filled with his spirit on a continual basis.
The Holy Spirit is an advocate who helps us.
Jesus said this. He said, “I will ask the father and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever.”
Now, he was talking about the Holy Spirit. In the original Greek, that word is pericletos.
Pericletos. And the closest thing we have to percle in the English language
is a defense attorney advising you, standing up for you,
someone who is summoned or called to be by one side helping you. Someone who
pleads another’s case or cause before a judge.
Ju just think for a moment what that means when Jesus says I’m going to send you an advocate or another word is comforter.
And when we do a word research and we study the original Greek and it it just kind of fans out into meanings and definitions.
But how amazing is it to think that the Holy Spirit is like your defense attorney?
So good. Another word that you could use is that the Holy Spirit is an intercessor.
It’s another way to think about the Holy Spirit is an intercessor. An intercessor is one who intervenes on behalf of another person.
And Romans 8 says that the spirit also helps in our weakness.
We don’t know what we should pray, but the spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
So if you hear somebody praying in the spirit, it might just be like in your mind like completely unintelligible like
like some of y’all are like you’re freaking out that I actually giving you an example of a sound.
But did anyone know what I was saying? No, I don’t know know what I’m saying.
just and but that’s kind of how it sounds.
Now there’s a lot of stories of people in other countries and uh there there’s
a story of a a a man who was filled with the Holy Spirit. He was at a doctor’s office. He thought he was alone in the
waiting room. this was in our family line and thought he was along alone in the waiting room and he was he was just started praying and he was started
speaking in tongues and and a little while later a man in the room came over who was Russian and asked him a question
in Russian and he said I don’t know what you’re saying and he’s like no you just were speaking Russian
and you were saying something about God protect that it be a report. I felt like you were talking about me.
Like when they got it all together, like it’s like so the stories where God God can use whatever language he wants is what I’m talking about. When the spirit
of God starts just but have you ever not known how to pray? I guess that’s the best question.
Have you ever known not how to pray, but you’re in a moment and you can you can just lean in and and then something not intelligent. That’s what this is
describing. It says that the spirit makes intercession for you according to the will of God.
When when uh Jodie was a baby, uh Sheila in fact had her on her lap and
we were traveling from the Chicago area to the St. Louis area. Her parents lived
in Chicago. Mine lived in um my parents lived in St. Louis. And so we were late
night, you know, we’re pleasing everybody kind of thing. Come on, parents.
Let’s not do that to our kids. Let’s not let them do it. Here’s my story. We were traveling. It was probably 10:00 when we left Chicago area.
6-hour drive, 5 and a half hour drive to St. Louis. And it was snowing, it was cold, and we were like, “Got to get
there for the morning. My parents will be happy if we all get there. And a car came from the other side of the
interstate across the median into our lanes. It was a big we were we were driving.
I’m not going to say how fast we were driving. I don’t know really, but it was fast and we were we were trying to just
like, you know, move things along and was definitely too fast for the weather conditions. Point is is that when the car came, it came right our direction
and I lost control and the car just went where it went and it spun I don’t know
many many many many many times and finally came to a stop on the side of the road in the and we didn’t hit
anything and nothing hit us. And so about an hour later, I called my dad to tell him that we were delayed. And he
said, “Well, thank you for calling.” That was, by the way, before cell phones. “Thank you for calling. Uh,
we’ve been praying for you.” And it turns out that just minutes before
that happened to us, my dad got a call from a friend of our family. We we
called him the prophet. Um, and his name was Robert. And when my dad
answered the phone late that night, Robert was doing that unintelligible, loud
speaking in tongues kind of thing. And in between it, he’s my dad’s name was Roy, and he’s yelling in the phone,
“Roy! Roy, where’s Kevin? Kevin’s in trouble. Kevin’s in trouble. Where where’s he at? Roy, where’s where’s
Kevin? And my dad’s like, well, he he’s uh he’s fine. Last I heard, he’s good.
He’s they’re traveling home. It’s Christmas. And and he could he would not be he would not let go. He’s like, “No,
in Jesus name.” Boom.
And of course, my mom and dad met the urgency of the moment, hung up the phone, and just began to pray for
our safety and pray for our well-being, knowing nothing.
Do you need protection? Do do you need help with the decision?
Do you need guidance in your business? Yes.
One of the things I really like about teaching on things of God right now when the world environment that we’re in is
that what I teach now is so easily believed versus some of the things the world is saying right now.
Are anybody feel me right now? Are you with me? Like if you have a hard time believing some of the things that I’m sharing right now and the work of the
Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit is real and you believe some of that nonsense like
that’s being said and taught and people are saying like, you know, a man can man
can’t get pregnant. A man can’t get pregnant. I’m sorry. That just doesn’t It can’t happen.
Okay, rewind. Some of y’all got mad just now. I’m I’m I’m saying open your heart and your mind up. If you’ve not been
willing to cross over into a land of believing and trusting in the things of
God, open your heart.
Do you need wisdom?
Cuz scripture says that God gives wisdom.
That’s the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit gives wisdom.
Do Do you need wisdom as a father or a mother?
Do you need courage?
Some people are saying, “Pray for me, Pastor Kevin. You inspire me with your courage. Thank you. But my courage comes from God.
Comes through the Holy Spirit. I’m just a human being like you are.
I I like everybody to like me, too.
Do you understand what I’m trying to tell you today? I don’t want anybody mad at me. But it’s called courage.
God gives us courage to have a conversation. We need to have
to interact in a way that it is and I’ll get into this maybe one week in in the series, but in a sp the Holy Spirit is the spirit of truth.
It’s a spirit of truth. Do do you need favor on your job?
in your career.
My my point is that the Holy Spirit is not just among us, but the Holy Spirit is working on our behalf.
You see, God is always working for the good in our lives.
I said God is working for the good in our lives.
And and some may not realize like why things
are happening like they are. You may not you don’t have to understand everything.
But just know this, the Holy Spirit is a way maker.
The Holy Spirit is a way maker. The the Holy Spirit is here with us and among us
to accomplish God’s will, in us, through us, and around us.
Scripture says, “It is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.
He opens doors that are closed and he closes doors that we’re not meant to walk through.
Anybody want to thank him for that?
Sheila and I have ongoing joke and I think I’ve talked about in the past. you know, we were we were on like a a little trip together celebrating anniversary
and this is back when, you know, uh technology I was just getting used to it and so she was showing me some things out of the past, some people out of the
past and she started showing me her old boyfriends and she showed me a couple of them and I’m like, “Yeah, wow.
You better thank God.
every day of your life there. Thank God that didn’t work out, girl.
And you know, and I did this symbol right then and now for years we’ve done I did this right here.
That’s what that’s who he is. Like he’s a loser.
fun story that explains that the Holy Spirit is here not just to get you in the right relationship,
but to help you get out of and to move along. If they walk away from you, don’t ask them to come back.
Don’t Don’t open the door for them to come back. You don’t need them.
I said you don’t need them.
Praise and thank the Lord that he’s setting you free and he’s delivering you and he’s got something better for you down the road. You don’t need them.
Well, Py, you all know I use my bow and my bow, my friend. Stop it. Start thanking the Lord. He’s got a great
plan. He’s got something better. He is saving you for that that other opportunity, that other person.
And you know, if you’ll watch closely, you’ll see lives where people are intersected. You’ll see in your relationships, you’ll see intersections.
If you’ll think right now, everyone, if you’ll think about it, you will agree with me on this because
there are times in your life that you cannot explain the encounter, the person, the way it all came down, the way it happened, the church that you found.
There’s no way it was a coincidence and you know it, but rather it was an intentional, purposeful, Godplanned, God assigned connection in your life.
I’m looking over here at my friend Dave Rich right now. I remember a time when Dave Rich was up here with years ago. He was up here with praying with people
that were coming forward with needs and a man came forward and and came to Dave.
I mean, he got assigned to Dave. Dave was praying with him. Long story short, the man came forward for prayer for his
business and he needed he needed a door specific door to be open for his
business to actually have an opportunity for
for him to it was like a a a chain of stores. I’m trying to not tell too much, but he needed a he needed an
opportunity. And Dave prayed with him and then after church, Dave said to him,
“So, what what is it that you need?” And the guy explained a little bit more. And Dave said, “Well, I I’ll I’ll make the call tomorrow. I I’m your man.
I’ll give them a call tomorrow. You You understand that? You walk away, you go, “Wow.” Oh my goodness.
We’ve had city overseers and teams over the years who oversee approvals and permit processes who were resistant to us as a church being in a community.
And within a few months, I’m not I’m not there people in this room that know exactly what I’m telling
you. Within a few months, the leader of the group was gone
and a whole new leader was there and a new team,
a new council, a new advisory group was there with whom we had favor.
And the door throw is thrown open and the church moves forward. Do do you under do you hear me? I’m telling you, we have a helper. We have an advocate.
We have an advocate.
Come on. He is working on our behalf. He is opening up doors for us. He is clearing a way and making a way where
there doesn’t seem to be a way.

You You got to get the laughter back.
You got to get the joy back. You got to get the celebration back. You got to get the remembrance of his goodness back into your life.
So, here’s what I’m going to ask our church family to do this week. And anyone else is welcome to join if you’re a guest. Do what I did. Like just just
talk this week about him. Like talk about talk about his presence in your life. And and and don’t don’t just like
say, “Well, of course I know God’s here.” No. No. Would you would you point it out?
Would you say, “The Lord did this for me today.
The presence of God was so real. I was worshiping God while I was vacuuming the house.” And I could just sense the Tell
your husband. Tell your wife. Tell your ch celebrate his presence. Celebrate his goodness.
Come on, talk about he’s opening up a door for us right now. God is opening up a door.
How many of you believe with all your heart today that God is not He is not
deaf that he cannot hear. He is not blind that he cannot see. He knows every single thing that is going on in our
lives in our world right now. And how many of you know that he is a good God?
He is still doing good things. He is an overcoming God. Come on. He is a triumphant God.
Boy, I just know in my heart many of you this is what you needed exactly this week. And I I want to just ask you, would you not leave it at church? Would
you go home and just talk about his goodness and get the songs going?
Yeah. Get worship. I’m telling you, worship is what brings them close.
We just kind of did a little bit of that right now. This is what you need. If you don’t know where to go for that, ask somebody around you. There’s all kinds of good worship music. You can get those
worship songs. I get I get some of my favorite that really speak to me. I just play them over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over
and over. I wear them out. Like as long as they are speaking into my spirit and bringing God’s presence near,
I don’t think I have to go to the next song. I just stay right there and welcome his presence.

Amen. Okay. Hey, if you’re here today and you don’t know Jesus and you haven’t
really crossed over the line to make him the leader and the Lord of your life, I’m going to give you a chance right now. God wants you in his family. God
wants you in his family. Whoever you are right now, wherever you come from, whatever sin you feel is too great, you
know, that you can’t get past it beyond it. Lay that all aside. God is such a good God. He is a God of grace. He is a God of strength. There’s no one he
doesn’t care about. There’s no one he doesn’t love. His compassion endures through all of our mess ups, goop ups, screw-ups, whatever it is. God is He
loves you. He cares. And the Holy Spirit right now is ministering to some of you and opening the door, throwing the door wide open. Don’t Don’t get hung up on
who you are, what you’ve done, how you mess up, how you think, what’s not right. forget all that and just ju just
receive the invitation of the Holy Spirit right now to to cross over the line and to give him your life.
Okay. So, I’m going to pray a simple prayer. We’re all going to pray it together and I’m believing some of you right now it’s you taking that step of new beginnings in your life. Are you
ready? Just say this out loud. Say, “Lord Jesus.” Lord Jesus.
Come on. There’s somebody else. You got to join in this. I’m going to do it again. Say with me, Lord Jesus, Lord Jesus, welcome to my world.

Into my heart and into my life. Forgive me of all my sin. And make me a new person.
