BIBLICAL BASED VOTING

WHO SHOULD I VOTE FOR?

Aligning Your Vote with Biblical Principles

Values-Based Voting Made Simple

Approximately 25 million Christians who are registered to vote do not participate in elections. When believers pray, think biblically about the issues, and vote consistently, their collective impact can shape communities and the nation for the better. As followers of Jesus, we’re called to honor God in every area of life—including the voting booth. We encourage you to approach civic responsibility through a Biblical worldview.

Today, many have grown unfamiliar with scripture. We want to help you discover a values-based approach to voting. Our position as Christians on issues should first and foremost be congruent with scripture, our opinions shaped by and submitted to a Biblical worldview.

WE BELIEVE that Christians should be value-based voters. We are to take our duty as Christians seriously, and as Americans to value the freedom God has given us. We believe Christians should take the time to research the candidates carefully, to weigh their positions against a Biblical viewpoint, and to vote responsibly.

• Pray First: Seek God’s direction for decisions. (1 Timothy 2:2 MSG)

• Do Your Homework: Research the issues and candidates’ positions, not just party lines.

• Stay Involved: Beyond voting, participate in the community by serving, advocating, or volunteering. (Titus 3:1)
