Hey Champion Center, welcome to Watch Party Weekend! We are so excited to have all of you with us today, and a huge shout out to all of our locations — what’s up Bellevue, Dupont, Tacoma, Yakima — and all of our online family! No matter where you’re tuning in from, we are thrilled to be together, so be sure to say hello in the chat or in the comments. We would love to connect with you.

At Champion Center, community is at the heart of everything we do, and our mission is clear: with Christ at the center, we move life forward relationally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. We call those our reps. Today is a special time as we hear from our lead pastors reflect on all that God has done in 2024 and praise Him for what’s ahead. Let’s come together in gratitude and expectation for the amazing things God is going to do.

Thank you, Pastor Jessie Ashley. We are talking today about how good God’s been, yes, and the blessing of the Lord this past year. I have a little phrase here: God has been good, He is good, and He will be good. Yes, you can say that right now wherever you are: God has been good, He is good, and He will be good!

We want to remind you of that today — the goodness of God. Sheila and I are excited about the upcoming year, and we’ll talk about some of that a little later in the service. I want to begin by reading a verse of scripture — Jeremiah 32:40: “I will make an everlasting covenant with them and I will never stop doing good to them.”

I remember when I first really got into that verse; it stood out to me while writing my book Good Things. God really said, “I will never stop doing good.” So even with a new year coming up, don’t limit God to the past. Realize He’s good today and will keep being good because that’s who He is.

saiah talks about this as well: “I will tell of the kindnesses of the Lord, the deeds for which He is to be praised according to all that the Lord has done for us, according to His compassion and many kindnesses.” And we just insert our names and church: the many good things He has done for Champion Center, for you, for your family.

This past year, we had some amazing reports. Sheila helped me compile them: over 344 baptisms, 736 salvations, more than 100 baby dedications, and average weekly children’s attendance of 5,441. Our Team Church organization hosted 33 events across North America, representing 644 churches. We rejoice in the impact God is making through our church family.

Our Legacy offering reached 1.7 million, the second-largest in our history — praise God! And while there were challenges this year, like the passing of my father, a faithful patriarch who pastored over 50 years in St. Louis, we celebrate God’s goodness even amid loss. Grandchildren and family had a chance to know him and experience God’s blessing through his life.

Life has ups and downs, disappointments, and struggles. Scripture reminds us that God works all things together for our good. God is, has been, and will always be good. Today, we glance back on 2024 to celebrate victories and testimonies, knowing God’s goodness prevails.

We worship, praising God because He didn’t leave us, He saved us, and He continues to work miracles in our lives. Testimonies include healing and restoration, like a young man whose lungs were damaged from military service, but God restored him beyond medical expectations.

As we look forward to 2025, Pastor Jodi encourages us to embrace God’s unfinished works — areas where God is still moving, still blessing, and still providing favor. The message calls believers to raise their expectations, trust God’s faithfulness, and celebrate His unending goodness in all areas of life.

Favor is like a waterfall — constantly flowing, never-ending. God’s blessings are ongoing and abundant. Even amid struggles, we can expect God to provide according to His riches and glory. Declare favor over your life in 2025 and participate in spiritual patterns that cultivate growth, such as worship, prayer, fasting, and consistent engagement with God’s Word.

The service closes with worship songs such as Here I Am to Worship, declaring God’s power, love, and faithfulness. Pastor Jodi emphasizes creating new patterns in 2025 — attending services, participating in prayer, fasting, and honoring God daily — so that potential can be fully realized in our lives, families, careers, and the church.

We rejoice in God’s faithfulness and encourage everyone to step into the new year with hope, expectation, and confidence in His goodness.
