Baptism Story: Part 2 – Life Change
Kiana started coming to Champions Centre at the beginning of this year. She came back to church because she knew she wanted to reconnect with God.
Everything shifted for her the day her brother Elijah got baptized. When she saw the joy on his face as he came up from the water, something stirred in her. In that moment, she knew—she wanted to take that step too.
When her baptism day came, Kiana was filled with both nerves and excitement. She cried tears of joy, overwhelmed by the peace and presence of God.
She says the reason she keeps coming to church is because every time she’s here, she feels closer to God in every way—and she feels seen, known, and welcomed.
Kiana and her family are so grateful for the team members who help make moments like this possible.
