For Unto Us a Child Is Born
Christmas is more than a season—it’s a declaration. For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given (Isaiah 9:6). God stepped into our world in the most unexpected way: through a baby born in a manger. The simplicity of Jesus’ birth carries a powerful reminder—God’s salvation, hope, and peace arrived wrapped in humility.
This is why we celebrate.
This is why we worship.
This is why Christmas still changes lives.
The angels understood it when they announced His arrival with, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men!” (Luke 2:14). Heaven celebrated because hope had come close.
As a church, we join in that celebration. We praise the God who loved us enough to send His Son. We rejoice in the Savior who brought peace to our brokenness. And we open our hearts in worship, just like believers have done for centuries. “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!” (Psalm 150:6).
This Christmas, let’s slow down long enough to remember the One we’re celebrating—Jesus, the Light of the World. May His hope fill your home, your family, and your heart in fresh ways this season. Join us for Sundays in December and for our Christmas Eve Worship Experience go to
