Honor Weekend – A Culture of Gratitude
At Champions Centre, we believe in building a culture of honor. The Bible tells us in Romans 13:7 to "give to everyone what you owe them… if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor."

That’s exactly what we’re doing on Sunday, June 29—we’re setting aside the day to honor the heroes among us.

Who We’re Honoring

Whether they wear a uniform, carry a badge, or respond to a crisis in a moment’s notice—we are grateful for the men and women who serve on the front lines of our communities and country.

On this special weekend, we will take time in every service to recognize and pray over:

  • Active Military

  • Police Officers

  • Firefighters

  • Paramedics and EMTs

  • First Responders of all kinds

These individuals carry more than responsibility—they carry courage, sacrifice, and a deep sense of duty. And we believe honor is due.

Why It Matters
In a world where criticism can be loud and respect can be rare, the Church has a unique opportunity to lead the way with honor.

We don’t just say thank you—we stop, we speak up, and we celebrate the everyday heroes who protect, serve, and give of themselves so we can live in safety and peace.

Join Us
We encourage everyone in our church family to:
Invite someone you know who serves
Wear patriotic colors or something that represents support
Be ready to cheer and celebrate!

Let’s fill the room with gratitude and honor. Let’s teach the next generation what it looks like to value service and sacrifice. And let’s make space for God to move in the hearts of those who give so much to others.
